Hi everyone! Hope you all are having a wonderful weekend! Today I bring to you two of my favorite homemade juice recipes that I have been making heaps this summer. Not only are they delicious, but also nutritious! Juicing provides a plethora of nutrient-rich benefits and allows for a quick, efficient way to absorb tons of vitamins and minerals. It boosts your immune system, aids in digestion, and helps you remove toxins from your body. If you’re not into eating fruits and vegetables, juicing is a great way to get them in!

1. Summer Beets

Whenever I think of summer, I think of vacations, swimming pools, BBQ, and the beach! But none of these would be complete without a killer summertime playlist and… fresh healthy juice! Beat the heat with this vibrant juice thanks to one secret ingredient—beets! Beets contain phytonutrients, which have been shown to provide anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits as well as detoxification support. Paired with superfoods like kale and ginger, this juice is jam-packed with vitamins and minerals that promote optimal health! This is currently by #1 favorite juice this summer!

Ingredients:

  • 3 red beets, quartered

  • 3 large carrots

  • 2 small fuji apples, halved and seeds removed

  • 1 whole bunch of kale, stem removed, roughly chopped

  • 1 (1-inch) piece of ginger

Directions:

  • Put everything into a juicer and juice!

Makes approximately 32oz.

2. Carrot Juice

This carrot-based recipe is a definite must-try this summer. Carrots not only contain loads of vitamins and minerals that are needed for optimal health, but also help with cancer prevention, anti-aging, and vision! Beta-carotene, vitamin K, potassium, manganese, along with other nutrients found in carrots helps support liver detoxification!

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb carrots

  • 1 large gala apple, halved and seeds removed

  • 1 (1-inch) piece of ginger

Directions:

  • Put everything into a juicer and juice!

Makes approximately 32oz.

Enjoy! Do let me know if you try any of these! J
