Chinese Herbal Infusion Drink

Do you ever get those tummy troubles and it seems like nothing helps to soothe it? (Or maybe it’s just me?) I’ve tried it all, my friends…bananas, brown rice, ginger, crackers, toast…the list goes on and on. While these remedies do, more often than not, help, there is one drink that always does the trick for me, here it is!

Today I bring to you a Chinese herbal infusion drink that I’ve learned from my mom. While the combination of these ingredients may be a bit unusual (juuuust a tad), this drink is jam-packed with natural health remedies and nutrients that are perfect for whenever you’re feeling a bit off, or you’re simply looking for something new to try just for fun!

Ingredients

Directions: In your favorite mug, combine all ingredients. Cover with a lid and let sit for 15 minutes. Enjoy!

Note: The quantity of ingredients are highly dependent on how you want your drink to taste. In a 12 oz mug, I like to add the ingredients in the following order: 1 Tbsp of brown rice + astragalus mixture, 2 Tbsp dried longan, and 2-3 Tbsp goji berries. Be sure to let it sit so that all the ingredients get a chance to soak and bring out their wholesome flavors.
